Healthy Sugar Free, Dairy Free Hot Cocoa!

It's about that time of year and to me, this is just about the only upside to the cold weather :p Soups and hot chocolate season! This recipe is a rough recipe for one serving but adjust it your taste or serving size!

1 cup of coconut milk or raw whole milk
1-1.5 tbsp coco powder
1/4 tsp natural vanilla extract (can also add in, but not instead of a little peppermint or raspberry extract)
Xylitol, truvia or stevia packets to taste
1-2 La Nouba Sugar Free Marshmallows

Whisk together and heat on stove until warm! Perfect cold day treat.

Frozen Strawberry Watermelon Lemonade!

Oh my YUM! If you're watching your sugar, this isn't the best way to go because watermelon is higher on the glycemic index, this is not for those on strict advanced plan, but if you're not on advanced plan, grab a beach chair, get in the sun and sip on :) This is a delicious, refreshing summer treat once in a while for core plan or a vacation drink on AP, you'll love it!

what you need:
4 cups watermellon (frozen and cubed)
1 cup organic strawberries cut in half
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/3 cup xylitol or 6 packets of truvia
2 cups water

what to do:
Throw it in a blender and serve ;)

Peach Mint Iced Green Tea

I love peach iced tea :) Decided throw a twist on it with some mint, hold the syrups and artificial sweeteners, thanks!

What you'll need:
- Fresh Mint Leaves
- Peach Flavored Green Tea
optional: stevia, truvia or xylitol

Bring purified water to a boil. Once boiling, add mint leaves (I used 3 large mint leaves, and 1 tea bag for 2 servings but you can adjust as needed to your intended serving size). Allow mint leaves to flavor the water for about 3 minutes, water should be tinged green. Add in tea bag and allow flavors to to simmer together for a few minutes. If you want additional sweetness, put natural sweetener of choice in the bottom of the cup and allow hot liquid to melt, stir leaving room to later add ice. Otherwise, serve over ice with or without mint leaves and tea bag.

Sugar Free, Dairy Free Root Beer Float

Craving a root beer float? Here is an acceptable alternative to the sugar and high fructose corn syrup laden original. I've heard a lot about Zevia sodas, so I figured I'd try them out. I don't recommend consumption of these on a regular basis, I'm not crazy about the coloring added but because they are flavored with erythritol, stevia and natural oils it absolutely beats the option of commercial soda pops and cuts down on the damage to your body. Pair with vanilla bean no sugar added coconut milk ice cream and enjoy :)

What You'll Need:
So Delicious Vanilla Bean Coconut Milk Ice Cream No sugar added
Zevia Ginger Root Beer
