Caprese Salad

This is one of my favorites! Every time we go to the Italian Feast in Boston, I zero in on the Caprese section, I love this flavor combination. Again, a pretty simple recipe but good for on the go snacks or lunches when you get busy.



What you'll need:
Organic tomato
Raw milk mozzarella
Fresh Basil
Olive Oil
Sea or Himalayan Salt
Pepper
Balsamic Vinegar (optional)

SIDENOTE: There are a ton of youtube videos that show how to make home made mozarella in five minutes!

Slice tomato and mozzarella and layer. Chop or tear basil and spread on top, drizzle with olive oil, balsamic vinegar if desired (is still delicious without), and crush fresh salt and pepper on top :)
